The smells of the kitchen as you walk in were those of spice, chicken, cilantro and samosas. That got the appetite geared up for the feast.
And let's not forget the on-the-spot fried papadums...
The main meal was a chicken biryani (how did they know I loved this?).
Full of spices, rice moist with the chicken and its broth, sprinkled with fresh cashews, this was one special biryani that I will remember for a long time.
The Mung Beans in coconut curry dal looked beautiful, tasted refined, and went well with everything around it.
Once tried rice, mixed with dal and an Indian pickle, one could not resist going for seconds.
The palettes were cleansed with an arugula and fennel salad, just in time for the home made pavlova.
You can't see it because it is covered with lemon sweet yogurt, a bit of whipped cream, and berries mix.
Delicious, pleasant, comfortable are only a few words to express my thanks for such a nice evening.
Thank you neighbours.
