A Gift of Dinner

Lady K was very busy cooking by what I found when I unpacked a bag of goodies she sent home with me.

A bag full of fancy, varied and my favourites foods, including rice and bread.

Starters included Foul and cheese pastries. Lady K, you make Foul in such a unique way, skipping the garlic and replacing with cumin - delicious.

And where did you find those cheese pastries??

Dinner included not one but two Lebanese stews.

Lady K's version of Shishbarak skipped the garlic and included pine-nuts - where did you learn this trick??

The other stew was Bazella (pea stew).

Again, a different version than mine with (a) tomato sauce instead of lemon and (b) tiny chopped carrots like only Lady K can chop them added to the mix.

Thank you Lady K - so grateful!
