Schwein Schnitzel

A European night at somerville kitchen mit die Schnitzel.

Amazing how quickly this dinner came together; testament to knowing where to go and get what in this city.

First, the cleanest and freshest pork in the city comes from Polonia (4286 Fraser).

Polonia also makes their own Russian (or is it Polish?) salad. Expensive, but fresh and delicious (and not always available).

The European Specialty Importers (220 Prior) is the only place that carries those German packaged sauerkraut. They come in a foil paper package and all you need is to heat them up with a bit of butter and water and they are ready to serve in 20 minutes.

And while there, pick up the best German Senf and the European meal is ready in less than 30 minutes.
