Looking for the Wackiest Samosa

After trying different samosas on Fraser Street and not remembering which one was bought where, it is time to decide, once and for all, who makes the best samosas on Fraser. So a focus group was gathered and four different samosas were sampled.

Option 1: New Novelty Sweet & Restaurant @ 6669 Fraser St.

2 for $1.

Described by focus group participants as good with fresh flavours.

Option 2: Sartaj Sweets & Restaurant @ 6665 Fraser St.

3 for $1.

Greasy, salty (MSG?), too spicy with a chemical flavour (no wonder they are 3 for a dollar).

Option 3:  Manohar Vegetarian Bakery @ 6414 Fraser St.

$1.29 each.

A twist on Samosas - larger, baked and made with phyllo pastry. Tasty indeed but are they really samosas?

Option 4: New Bhaia Sweets & Restaurant @ 5740 Fraser St.

3 for $1.

Crunchy, always fresh, but deemed as suspiciously flavoured with mystery spices to make them addictive.

The four were then sampled in random order.

The results were somewhat inconclusive. Option 1 was deemed to be the least greasy, fresh and best quality. But something about Option 4 making it a favourite with its flavour mystique and crunchy crust.
