It is 12:38 (p.m.). I just finished an hour-long meeting. I am hungry. River Rock Casino's Buffet was staring at me.
So into the Casino I go (HR, is this a no-no during working hours?)
For $20 you get a lot of food.
The salad bar is big, albeit nothing really exciting. There are also all the regular buffet-style diners' foods - roast beef, roasted chicken, potatoes, vegetables, etc.
Given this is Richmond and close to the airport, the real quality food was the Chinese food buffet.
Lots of options? Yes. The taste? Not bad, albeit everything is soaked with more soy sauce than our yearly sodium threshold.
As for desserts, well it is lent and all 12 or so dessert options were white and creamy. But those tarts caught my eye - they were not identified, but looked very food-colouring green, although in a real cute way. I wonder if this is a St. Patrick's Day special.

And I made it back to the office in time to witness the beauty of today's rainbow.
