This year's colouring was done using food-safe colouring pills (with fuzz factor to add to the fun).
Look how vibrant the colours are!
Another Easter-must ritual is an egg cracking competition. Each person chooses his or her favourite egg. To add to the fun, players had the option of enhancing the eggs to prepare for the cracking game.
The sweetest player chose to add a sticker of a bumble bee.
This was a first timer at the game and was nervous about how ready she was.
Ready or not, the show must go on.
Reflecting an outgoing personality and a conviction that humanity is moving quickly towards self annihilation, this player chose a rocket to strengthen the egg.
I have to admit, I did not share all the tricks of winning. As I learned from my childhood, there is more to winning this game than how hard you crack - it is all about positioning and focus, same as winning in anything in life.
Okay, I am now boring you with philosophies - let's move on to player 3.
Player 3 did not want to add any distractions to the egg.
This player chose a solid red egg hoping that the colour will intimidate the opponents and gain a competitive advantage that way.
The fourth player, applying German design theories of functionality driving design, aimed to strengthen the egg with several stickers.
An interesting trick; but would it work?
Let the cracking games begin - good luck and may the odds be ever in your favour.
And the winner was the sweetest player, the first timer with the bumble bee.
That egg was held real tight I believe, see the the dye rubbing off on hand.
Happy Easter and thank you all for making Easter fun.
Tune back in 12 hours for Breaking Lent - Part B.
