between, snacking can sometimes be more exciting than the home cooked

Manakeesh - the miracle Lebanese breakfast with zaa'tar or cheese or one of each
None of the Manakeesh go to waste; a mini piece with cheese and salad is a perfect pre-sleeps snack
Dad's specialty is grilled cheese sandwiches- one set with Kashkaval cheese and one with Haloum cheese; and yes they are rolled then grilled keeping the cheese from fully melting
And for post sleep pre-breakfast snack are these sweet church breads grilled and spread with Labneh for a sweet and sour combination to die for
But the best and healthiest snack is a full basket of freshly picked green peas - no words can describe this taste experience
