Replacement Chef

As I start a full month weekend work gig at Shaktea, somerville kitchen was threatened with lack of blogging material. So a replacement chef was in order.

While busy zenning at my new job, the chef was busy boiling capellini, making fresh sauce from scratch and preparing garlic bread.

The deliciously freshly made thick sauce included a pound of meat and a pound of mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes, and green peppers; spiced with fresh thyme, rosemary and bay leaves.

Toaster oven garlic bread was soft on the bottom and crunchy on top, in a perfection that only a toaster oven can produce.

Dinner was equally enjoyed by one of the chef's many crazies.

Thank you replacement chef!
