What a great start to a do nothing vacation - hanging in the jardin with a cup of Shaktea tea, a freshly baked cinnamon raspberry bun and my favourite all-time comics, Little Lulu.
Anita could not have timed her cinnamon buns baking better. A tray of dozen freshly baked buns; the cream still melting on them from the warmth of the buns. All intertwined with fresh raspberries. What a great vacation kick-off.
Thank you Anita!
To top the decadence, a cup of tea from my private Shaktea collection - The Somerville Garden Blend herbal harmony (osmanthus flower) enhanced with some Ode to Masouma Blend (premium rose buds).
Thank you Shaktea!
And as if I was not having enough fun, I ripped open a pack of Iranian pomegranate fruit leather snacks that I got as a gift on the weekend.
They are sure beautiful to look at, perfectly resembling pomegranate. They were difficult to open, but once open, they are large enough to roll into all sorts of shapes. But then again, their original shape is fun enough.
Well, it is supposed to be a vacation of fun and frolic, light and mentally non-challenging. Now if I can continue to think of such activities for the rest of the week.... Any thoughts?
Thank you Janice!
