Tonight I got creative.
I pulled out a baked beans ready-to-make tube with black beans and quinoa.
The recipe called for a slow cooker, I just cooked it slowly in a pot.
I added chopped carrots, chopped green chili peppers and waited for the beans to cook.
There is nothing creative so far.
But wait, it is the serving of the meal that turned creative.
A layer of nachos.
A few scoops of my baked beans creation; topped with guacamole.
A sprinkle of chopped lettuce, a dollop of sour cream and look what you've got.
Brilliant creation with nothing more brilliant except for the wild creations in nature that are taking over somerville kitchen.
