My first venture into the kitchen after days of thawing was for a simple meal - spaghetti with home made tomato garlic herb sauce.
Normal diners (not I) ate it the simple way with a bit of parmesan cheese.
Other diners who are feeling excited about being thawed decided to be more experimental - pasta with brie cheese and capers (not bad at all).
