Myzithra is a cheese I received as a gift. It is supposed to be a sheep or goat cheese made on the Island of Crete, so why does the package say made in Italy, I don't know.
The Old Spaghetti Factory serves pasta with Myzithra cheese drizzled with browned butter. If they can do it, I can.
The browned butter was too involved. But a boiled pasta buttered well and sprinkled with Myzithra cheese made for an amazingly simple yet tasty meal.
Now does anyone know of other recipes to use what is left of my gift? All online search spits out is the one I made...
