Restaurants' Saturday

A day of roaming shopping malls and restaurants, not by choice...

Breakfast

A platter of "Camp Fire" at The Tomahawk. Fresh tasting food, great atmosphere, mediocre service. Due to the (large) freshly squeezed organic orange juice, breakfast came to $20.

1550 Philip Avenue, North Vancouver

Lunch

"Bison Burger" at The Village Taphouse. Tasty buffalo burger covered with brie caramelized onions. French fries upgraded to a Poutine that is small in size, light on gravy, but great for taste.

Most interesting part of the lunch is the "Howe Sound Pumpkin Eater" - specially brewed for the restaurant, this is a Pumpkin Ale made from fresh roasted pumpkins, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise. Excellent.

900 Main Street, Village at Park Royal, West Vancouver

Dinner

Best value in town. Dinner was the "Legendary Burger" with endless fries.

And no visit to White Spot is complete without my favourite blueberry milk shake. Yum!
