Meindardt treats kicked off the day. The chocolate croissants, cinnamon buns, the scones; all appropriate for breakfast.
The ginger cookies on the other hand, made with real ginger, were a breakfast made in heaven.
Lunch at Season's in the Park. Beautiful view, salmon burger was one of the better ones I have had in the city.
And as a bonus, I walked out with a chowder recipe off the newspaper wrapping my fries.
Afternoon
Ice-cream craving was grounded with a fun in the sun game of pitch and putt golf.
Now why don't they have ice-cream stations through the golf course, I wonder? It would have been a perfect combination for the afternoon.
A local production of Rent at Granville Island's Waterfront Theatre.
And regular readers know that theatre nights always end up at Gain Wah, featuring more local entertainment than any theatre till 11:45 pm every night.
