Dim Sum Weekend - Sunday

A landmark on Main Street, I have been visiting Sun Sui Wah for over a decade now.

It is popular for sure and line ups are long on weekends (but they do take reservations).

Over the years, I have seen it change from dim sum carts to off menu dim sum and from being exclusively Asian clientele to a real mix.

Given a wide variety of dim sum dishes, Sun Sui Wah is best experienced with a large group to taste more options.

Their root vegetable cakes are a must. And the standards - sticky rice, shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns, etc. - are extremely well done.

Gai lan, though, is greasy.

As a group of five, I managed to experiment with some novelty items...

... be able to pass on some other novelty items...

... and try some desserts (taro cake - yum).
