Red Valentine

somerville kitchen painted the kitchen red this valentine starting with red sockeye salmon and cranberry goat cheese.

The red Italian meatloaf with Italian sausages in the middle and topped with red tomato sauce tasted way redder better than it looked.

The original wacky idea of mashed potato with red food-coloured milk was quickly replaced with boring roasted red potatoes (I should have took a red shot of them prior to roasting).

There were more red vegetables with roasted red sweet peppers...

... and red radicchio salad with red wine vinegar dressing.

There were red sweets delivered from across the street.

And a cranberry pecan pie shining with all shades of red.

But the sweetest valentine was a red rose petals jam, a gift from one of the catses.
