The 2013 Breakfast

Buy lots of greens (I may vary them every week). For this week, it was kale, spinach and chard. Add to the shopping list a fruit or two (for this week it was apples and avocados).


Cut the stems, separate the leaves and organize them in equal portions in fridge bags - you are all set for the week.


With this combination of greens and fruit, I use:

- a handful of spinach
- a leaf of chard and a leaf of kale
- half an avocado
- half an apple

Add a Tbsp honey and a tsp cinnamon, some water, and blend to mush.

Surprisingly delicious, amazingly energizing and efficiently simple.

Wonder what I will use as a combination on the next shopping.
