This Easter, I got myself an Easter present - a new kitchen toy.
The kitchen toy's recipe book included a roast chicken recipe; exactly what I had planned to cook for Easter.
I am sure this toy will be very useful for many meals and occasions, but not for roasting chicken. Four hours on High and still needed another hour in the oven.
On the other hand, no other roasting method would have given enough liquid for gravy.
But after all, it was fun and it produced a lovely roasted chicken Easter dinner.
