Remember the Buffalo Stew (see October 3 entry - Buffalo Stew)? Well, this stew was repeated at somerville kitchen but chicken replaced buffalo, parsnips replaced the corn and some okra thrown in. It turned out as much comfort food with the same rich taste as the buffalo stew. See the recipe under the October 3 entry and try it with buffalo, beef, lamb or chicken - all will turn out great.
Chicken stew was served over couscous, along with Fatoush (Lebanese salad) and Turnips salad (turnips boiled and mixed with salt, olive oil and chives).
