Pumpkinny Halloween

A Halloween weekend of pumpkin carving, pumpkin seeds roasting and carved pumpkins picture taking. The carving not only made great kid-welcoming creatures, but provided an abundance of seeds for both roasting and planting in next year's jardin.

How to roast the pumpkin seeds? First, dry the seeds over night, then sprinkle them with some salt. Bake them in an oiled baking pan for 20 minutes in a 375 degrees oven. Deliciously fresh!
Now some samples of carved pumpkins from around the neighbourhood. Happy Halloween!
