Apples Apples Everywhere - Three Recipes

Beautiful box of apples from a dear friend's garden. I was warned they are mainly cooking apples so I started on a quest for apple-based recipes.

Here are three recipes that are easy, tasty and appley. Enjoy.


Recipe 1 - Mom's Apple 'Pudding'

Combine:
-  0.5 cup butter
- 0.75 cup flour
- 0.75 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Chop 3 apples into small chunks, sprinkle with lemon juice and 0.25 cup honey.

Mix into the flour combo and bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes, no cover.


Recipe 2 - Mom's Apple & Walnuts Bake

Beat 1 egg, then beat in 0.75 cup sugar.

Stir in: 1 Tbls flour; 1 Tsp baking powder; 1 Tsp vanilla

Add 0.5 cup chopped walnuts and 3 apples peeled and diced.

Bake covered in a 325 oven for 30 minutes. Uncover to brown for few minutes.


Recipe 3 - Internet's Apple Muffins

Mix 1.25 cups flour with 3 tsp baking powder.

In another bowl, cream 0.5 cup sugar with 0.25 cup butter. Add to flour mix alternating with 1 cup milk.

Add two apples diced, some raisins and bake in muffin tins for 20 minutes in 400 oven.
