Lady K Chicken

Lady K's Freekeh production yesterday was such a hit (Read A Dinner of Lady K Freekeh) that a repeat performance was asked for, and graciously granted.

"This is a Syrian recipe with lots of garlic", Lady K says. "But rather than using the garlic fresh, I will be roasting it".

"And this is a Southern Lebanon's version of Moudardara", Lady K says as she caramelized the onions.

The Syrian recipe turned out to be baked chicken and potatoes with garlic, olive oil, lemon and simple spicing - the tray was devoured.

The Southern Lebanon's Moudardara replaces regular lentils with red unpeeled lentils and uses very thick bulgar wheat instead of rice - delicious fiber overdose.
