Lunching in Vancouver

At home for the week means lunches at home - a lifestyle I can get used to. A simple lunch is Markouk bread with freshly green olives - both carried on my back directly from Lebanon.


For something more substantial, a leftover steak and carrots easily turned into a pea stew with a can of peas and a can of tomato paste.


On a day one feels lazy, heating leftovers potatoes and eating them with cold cuts is definitely the way to go.


Lunch does not have to be savoury all the time. Some carb-heavy sweets can be a very fine lunch.
