Sunday is hamburger night at my dear lovely neighbour.

But this is Bangalore style - ground beef cooked with aromatic spices, vegetables and lots of green chilis.

The buns are stacked up with burger accompaniments just as we'd do with regular burgers, but the options include more interesting toppings such as pear and radish.

Whether hamburger or hambangalore, potatoes are a must and those were nicely steamed and butter ones sprinkled with jardin lovage.

This was a delicious taste buds' surprising treat. I will come back for hambangalores anytime my dear lovely neighbour.
