What Makes This Biriani Muslim I Wonder

As a kid in Lebanon, the only time religion came into play was when talking about feasts and food. Therefore, I would have never looked at a recipe called Muslim Style Biriani with any sensitivity - it is simply a Biriani made the way Muslims made it.

So leaving religion behind, I embarked on this major production that took over two hours.

Toppings were prepared and the "Chicken Savoury" part was simmering with its 14 different flavours.

The rice followed with its nine spices including rose water.

Aromatic dish makes for an aromatic kitchen and an aromatic dinner - a great recipe find.
