The theme this month is to bring an old favourite cookbook that is used the most
It was interesting to note that with all these fancy cookbooks we see at the cookbook club as well as the bestsellers at bookstores, none of those made it as part of our meeting's theme
The cookbooks members love and use the most are basic and functional; not fancy and colourful. Too bad not many of those are published today.
Our hostess used the Australian's Women Weekly Cakes and Slices cookbook
From it, wonderful Australian Lamingtons were baked, which were thoroughly enjoyed
