What's in my Bread Box?

I love my bread box. I got it on my credit union's Visa Desjardin points (who needs travel when you can have bread boxes).

And, as mentioned in one previous post (see Four Months Anniversary), my bread box rarely has bread in it.

So let's see what's in my bread box this week?

There are the deliciously healthy, ginger flavoured, Nairn's Oat Cookies - my latest discovery at London Drugs

There is also a small leftover piece from my friendship bread (read all about it here).

A half eaten Ritter Sport (my favourite chocolate bar after Kit Kat); Alpensohne Praline.

And a waiting to be eaten Ritter Sport limited edition Peach & Passion Fruit Yogurt (now this is one I cannot wait to get my teeth in).

Of course, always a bag of marshmallows that comes in handy at the end of any BBQ (and those days in-door fires).

Given that the bread box is next to cats favourite hang-out place (an open wall in somerville kitchen), cats rents a space in the bread box to hide his favourite treats.

Favourite treats vary by week. This time we have Whiskas Temptations and Medi-Treat crunchies. See cats enjoy.

Sometimes, like this week, you actually can find real bread in the bread box, but those are usually put aside for Heckle & Jeckle.

Heckle and Jeckle check out their own bird delivery mail box set up for them in le jardin. Many days they are waiting for me to bring out the bread (provided some are found in the bread box).

Here is one approaching the mail box.

And here he is at the eating station.

Which brings us to the end of What's in my Bread Box story, enjoyed by man, cats and crows.
