On a wacky afternoon, I drag a friend to an oriental den in the far East called East is East.
We decide to forget our worries about calories and cholesterol and embark on an Eastern Ecstacy trip.
A cocktail of decadence starting with rice pudding, eastern-style ice-cream and a warm gulab jaman, sprinkled with rose water, pistachio and cardamom.
All started to mix together in our bodies, and wacky white waves started hitting our brains; this is what it looked like.
Now we are drained, content, and already addicted.
We will back for more at East is East, 4413 Main Street, Vancouver. We may have been back by now already.
