Iranian Chicken Night

This is a picture of Iranian mountains - oops, I meant Iranian dried herbs collected from the mountains around Tehran (thank you dear gifter).

Now what to do with them?

"You sit and relax", said Lady K, another dear Iranian friend, "I will make dinner".

Saffron, cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, pepper, vinegar, tomato paste and the most delicious baked chicken appeared.

The authentic Iranian dried herbs, along with dill, went into a beautiful Iranian herbed rice platter.

A finely chopped green salad was added to the table for a beautiful Iranian Chicken & Rice dinner.

Thank you my dear Iranian friends, you do have one of the best (and most under-rated) cuisines in the world.
