Pre Christmas Dinner

I know this cook that turns any family dinner into feasts. Tonight was one of her dinners.

And the timing is perfect - it is almost Christmas and the meal was almost a Christmas feast.

The salad was simple.

But with the green and red, it really got the Christmas spirit going.

The spread of cooked vegetables just completed the Christmas vegetables spread.

The dinner was no turkey. But festive none the less.

It was hamburger in gravy with mushrooms over mashed potatoes.

A lovely warm festive dinner gearing up for Christmas.

Of course, there will always be dessert.

A home made apple and orange crumble that I enjoyed so much, that I skipped the chocolate cake.
