Dad's Yogurt

There is always yummy thick yogurt at my parent's house.

And it is always home made.

Determined to replicate it properly at home, I decided to observe carefully how it is made.

To my surprise, I found out that it is made with a full cream powdered milk.

First, start with bringing water to just before boiling. The water's temperature will be right when you can turn around your little finger in the hot water and count to 15 without burning yourself.

At this point, add 1 cup powdered milk to each 3 cups of water.

Mix well. Add 0.3 cup yogurt to each cup of water.

Mix the yogurt in. Cover the pot and you are ready to start the process.

Put the pot on a stable surface in a warm place that you don't need to access for hours.

Wrap the pot with two blankets and leave it to sit for 7 hours or so.

And voila, nice yogurt is ready to serve.
