Her cooking style is the envy of all cooks. She is always well stocked. There is a meat or dahl cooking on the stove at any moment of the day.
As such, if she is up for a meal at the end of the day, she puts this and that together, calls me over and a colourful tasty spicy warm dinner is served.
This is what I was served tonight.
In yellow, cauliflower and potatoes
In blue, beef and potato
In red, peas covering a surprise
And of course my favourite raita
The surprise, by the way, is spicy boiled eggs under the peas - yum.
