The Fall Dessert is an excelptional Pumpkin Spice Bread that is best to be tried than described. Here's the recipe.
Mix:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp allspice
In another bowl, beat:
- 2 eggs
- 1 can pumpkin
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup maple syrup
- 0.25 cup vegetable oil
Add to the flour mixture, stir until moistened.
Stir in 0.5 cup chopped pecans and 0.5 cup raisins.
Bake 1.25 hours in 350 oven.
Served at somerville kitchen with ice cream and Lebanon's peach compote.
